The Glass Studio of LA SOLFATARA is dedicated to cold-working glass: cutting, polishing, and mirroring. It supports the creation, restoration, and conservation of Jean-Michel Othoniel’s glass works. Essential to the artist, it complements the craftsmanship of Venetian, Swiss, and Indian glassblowers. The meticulous assembly of his glass structures is inseparable from this workshop. Assistants and interns occasionally join in a spirit of learning and transmission.
